What is it: A Cement Truck from Pennsy Trucking Co.

What's Cool: It ranges from 40'-60' of water and right behind the truck is a platform weight. You can spend tons of time here messing around and not worry about getting too cold or running out of time.

How to Spend Your Time: Like we said, there was a platform weight right behind the truck. If you start out on this platform, and ride down the line, you can avoid any other divers that might be using the main line. (Which incidentally drops you right on the cabin at around 50')

Beating on the roller with a large rock will produce a cool echoing noise that I've been told can be heard from the farthest platforms about 150' away.

If you're really good you can go under the undercarriage of the truck, but as of yet, i haven't been able to work up enough courage. Although there is a fair amount of space.

What Else: There used to be lines going from the weight behind the Pennsy to the Bulldozer (to be covered later, we footage is shot), but it was taken down. This line system continued from the Bulldozer at 70' to the Deep Boat (to be shot later too) at around '90. This made for an awesome dive because you could swim from shore to the platform (around a 30' surface swim) and make a dive that could last you more than 50 minutes and you could get bottom depths of 90'; all without coming to the surface!

This is the Passenger's side door of the Pennsy.

Forgot to mention. This is the air cleaner that can oftentimes be found around the Pennsy site. Makes a nice Frisbee.

Also makes a nice hat. 8-)

This is the back end of the Concrete Truck. This dive had a little less vis than normal, due to the Midshipmen screwing up the bottom. Expect around 50' vis before the algae bloom in early June, and around 20-25' afterwards.

Even with a fairly small rock you can make the roller resonate. Try it!

A much better shot of the rear end.
